Bitcoin MENA Conference 2025 Kicks Off In Abu Dhabi With Global Industry Leaders

The Bitcoin MENA Conference has returned to Abu Dhabi, uniting Bitcoin pioneers, policymakers, investors, and technology leaders. This event aims to define digital currency's role in the Middle East and the future of decentralised finance. Co-organised by ADNEC Group and BTC Inc., it is the largest specialised event of its kind, featuring over 234 speakers sharing insights on Bitcoin and digital trends.

Dr Mohamed Al Kuwaiti, Head of Cyber Security for the UAE government, highlighted the region's growing prominence in adopting digital assets. He noted the rapid expansion of cryptocurrency mining capabilities driven by advancements in energy infrastructure and sustainable investments. "The Middle East and North Africa region, led by the United Arab Emirates, continues to solidify its position as one of the world’s most prominent markets in adopting digital assets and Bitcoin," he stated.

The conference features renowned industry figures like Michael Saylor, Founder of Strategy, known for advocating Bitcoin adoption. Joining him is CZ (Changpeng Zhao), Founder of Binance, a major cryptocurrency exchange. Michael Novogratz from Galaxy Digital bridges traditional finance with digital currencies. Saifedean Ammous offers insights into Bitcoin's economic significance through his work on sound money principles.

Brandon Green, CEO of BTC Inc., emphasised Abu Dhabi's role in Bitcoin's evolution within MENA. He praised its regulatory clarity and infrastructure. "The UAE has become the beating heart of Bitcoin’s evolution for the entire MENA region," he said. The event brings together influential leaders reflecting regional momentum and global significance.

The exhibition showcases innovations in Bitcoin and data technology. Attendees can explore advancements from mining companies, investment platforms, and technology solution providers. Large-scale participation from investment groups highlights corporate interest in institutionalising Bitcoin.

Humaid Al Dhaheri, Group CEO of ADNEC Group, expressed commitment to supporting digital asset dialogue.
