Bahrain's First Consumer Lending And Insurance Marketplace Launched As BENEFIT And Zphin Partner
In a significant move towards financial digitalization, BENEFIT, Bahrain's frontrunner in fintech and electronic financial transaction services, has joined hands with Zphin, a subsidiary of PB Fintech Limited, to unveil an innovative online marketplace.
This platform is designed to transform consumer lending and insurance, including car insurance, credit cards, and travel insurance. This collaboration marks the inception of Bahrain's inaugural Consumer Lending and Insurance Marketplace, which is set to revolutionize the open finance ecosystem by utilizing the open banking infrastructure.

This joint venture is poised to redefine financial access and utilization in Bahrain, according to Yousif Alnefaie, Deputy Chief Executive of BENEFIT. He stated, "We are proud to have joined forces with Zphin and Atyaf eSolutions to launch this cutting-edge platform, which will redefine the way financial products are accessed and utilised in Bahrain.
"This partnership is a significant leap forward in our journey to enhance the digital ecosystem and deliver seamless, consumer-focused financial solutions".
Embedded in the BenefitPay super app, this marketplace promises to democratize financial services. It aims to connect credit providers with the bankable population directly, including those previously underserved or excluded from traditional financial systems.
Through innovative underwriting methods, customers will gain broader access to credit, moving beyond the conventional credit evaluation processes. The marketplace is set to foster transparency, competitive advantage in the lending market, and financial inclusion, offering consumers a unified gateway to a suite of financial products and embedded insurance options.
The realization of this platform benefits from the combined strengths of Zphin's technological prowess and Atyaf eSolutions' deep understanding of the local market. This collaboration will supply Bahraini consumers with personalized, pre-qualified financial options, simplifying the decision-making process.
Ubaydli Ubaydli, the Group Chairman of Atyaf eSolutions, remarked on the partnership's significance, saying, "By leveraging our local expertise and partnering with Zphin, we are set to redefine how financial products are delivered and accessed in Bahrain. We are thankful to Benefit for having faith in us and a forward-looking vision to build a platform that will empower consumers by giving them transparency and control over their financial decisions, all through the BenefitPay app."
The alliance also resonates with Bahrain's Vision 2050, aiming to position the Kingdom as the digital financial hub of the Middle East and North Africa.
Yashish Dahiya, co-founder, Chairman, and Group CEO of PB Fintech Limited, expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership, "We are delighted to collaborate with BENEFIT to bring our expertise in digital financial solutions to Bahrain. At PB Fintech, we have always believed in empowering consumers with the right tools to make informed decisions, and this project reflects our shared vision with BENEFIT to create a more efficient and accessible financial ecosystem."
Neeraj Gupta, CEO of Zphin, highlighted the partnership's significance, "This partnership is a major milestone for Zphin, and we are honoured to be able to collaborate with BENEFIT on this initiative. By integrating cutting-edge technology, we strive to set a new benchmark for financial and insurance services in Bahrain, delivering significant improvements to the ecosystem that will benefit both providers and users alike."
