Beautyworld Middle East 2024 Showcases Innovations In Sustainable Packaging Solutions

Beautyworld Middle East 2024 took place from 28th to 30th October at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event highlighted advanced packaging solutions in hair, beauty, and fragrance industries. Prestigepack, a dedicated section within the exhibition, showcased over 30 international exhibitors. Notable participants included Germany’s Heinz Glas GmbH, France’s Eurotextile, and UAE-based Isem Bramucci Middle East.

Prestigepack was designed for attendees to explore top-tier packaging innovations. It emphasised creativity and quality in beauty sector packaging. New exhibitors for 2024 included Spain’s Ceramicas and France’s Inessens. Returning brands such as France’s Aptar Beauty and India’s Pragati Glass also featured prominently.

Innovations in Sustainable Packaging at Beautyworld

This year, sustainability was a major theme, reflecting consumer demand for eco-friendly packaging. According to Euromonitor's 2023 Lifestyle Survey, 42.6 percent of global respondents prefer sustainable options like refillable and recyclable packaging. A PwC survey showed that in the region, 71 percent purchase items with eco-friendly packaging.

Show Manager Ravi Ramchandani stated, "Beautyworld Middle East offers manufacturers and brands an integrated supply chain showcase, covering raw materials, private labels, packaging, and manufacturing solutions." This comprehensive approach attracted many industry players seeking innovative solutions.

Exhibitors at Beautyworld Middle East have embraced sustainability trends by integrating eco-friendly practices into over 1,900 displays. The focus on certified sustainable packaging aligns with regional consumer preferences. In fact, 74 percent of consumers check for sustainability certifications when purchasing products.

Kapil Rathi from Haldyn Heinz Fine Glass remarked on the event's significance: "Beautyworld Middle East is crucial for us in attracting customers globally. This event builds our brand and provides valuable leads, as many visitors here don’t attend other exhibitions."

Awards Recognise Packaging Excellence

The Beautyworld Middle East Awards took place on 29th October at Conrad Dubai. These awards celebrated achievements in packaging innovation. Savasci Pour Homme by Junaid Jamshed won Luxury Packaging of the Year. KV Eau de Parfum Collection by KV & CO received Innovative Packaging of the Year.

Italy’s Pink Frogs Cosmetics participated for the first time this year. They specialise in third-party cosmetics production and joined other exhibitors showcasing their latest offerings in the prestigepack section.

The event successfully brought together global brands and manufacturers to explore cutting-edge solutions in beauty packaging. It provided a platform for networking and discovering new trends that are shaping the industry.
