Developers' Hub: Beam Ventures Launches First Gaming-Focused Fund In Abu Dhabi

The Beam Foundation has unveiled its innovative initiative, Beam Ventures, set to be stationed in Abu Dhabi. This venture, marking the first of its kind from ADGM, carries a hefty focus on the gaming sector with a fund of $150 million. Its primary goal is to bolster the growth of up-and-coming founders and position Abu Dhabi as a significant player on the global gaming stage.

In an effort to transform Abu Dhabi into a premier destination for gaming professionals and enthusiasts alike, Beam Ventures is laying down strategic plans. It aims to harness the power of blockchain, gaming, and artificial intelligence to spark innovation and redefine the gaming landscape. This initiative seeks to empower game developers and early-stage startups by offering them the necessary resources to thrive in an ever-evolving industry.

Beam Ventures not only aims to invigorate technological advancements within gaming but also aspires to cultivate a thriving community of game developers and innovators in Abu Dhabi. Given the recent surge in Abu Dhabi's gaming scene, evidenced by the creation of an esports island and hosting various gaming events, Beam Ventures plans to leverage this growing momentum. Supporting this venture, Saeed Al Fazari, the Strategic Affairs Executive Director at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, emphasized the importance of this fund in enriching the gaming ecosystem established over the past three years.
