Michel Ayat's tenure as CEO of AWR Automotive, a pivotal division of AW Rostamani Group (AWR Group), has come to an end after 34 years. His legacy includes a significant contribution to both the company and the broader UAE automotive sector.

Tom Fux is set to take over the reins, bringing with him a wealth of international experience in the automotive industry. With over two decades of experience working across various countries and roles, Fux's leadership is anticipated to steer AWR Automotive towards new horizons of growth and innovation.

AWR Automotive, a cornerstone in the UAE's automotive industry, offers an extensive range of services and products. As an authorised distributor for several major brands, including Nissan, INFINITI, Renault, Chery, Zeekr, smart, and Royal Enfield, the company has solidified its position as a key player in the region. Beyond traditional sales, AWR Automotive has been a pioneer in introducing flexible mobility solutions like Shift and Subscribe Me, reflecting its commitment to evolving consumer needs and technological advancements.

The leadership transition at AWR Automotive marks a new era for the company. Tom Fux is poised to leverage his vast experience, having held significant positions such as Managing Director at Toyota Adria, President of Toyota Germany, Founding President & CEO of KINTO Europe, and Senior Vice President at Toyota Motor Europe.
