AutoLogiX Launches Level 4 Autonomous Transport Solutions In The UAE With Zelostech Partnership

The trade, transport, and logistics group 7X has introduced a new venture called ‘Autologix Smarttech LLC (AutoLogiX),’ in collaboration with Zelostech, a global leader in autonomous vehicle technology. This initiative aims to create an integrated logistics ecosystem using Level 4 autonomous vehicles for transporting goods between logistics hubs in the UAE. This move highlights the UAE’s role as a leader in smart transportation technology development and deployment.

In its initial phase, AutoLogiX will focus on supporting EMX, 7X's logistics division, by deploying Level 4 autonomous vehicles. These vehicles are designed without a cab or steering wheel, facilitating seamless cargo movement. This marks a shift from traditional vans and trucks to more efficient and sustainable solutions. The venture plans to expand across the GCC and Middle East regions, offering last-mile delivery solutions and integrating logistics with air freight.

Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, emphasised the importance of combining operational expertise with technological innovation through this partnership with Zelostech. He stated, "Our partnership with Zelostech highlights the importance of synergising operational expertise with cutting-edge technological innovation. It also underscored the UAE’s capability to transform ambition into reality, further shaping a secure logistics future aligned with its vision for digital transformation and sustainable economy."

Kong Qi, CEO of Zelostech, expressed enthusiasm about the joint venture's potential impact on smart-logistics transformation in the UAE. He noted that Zelostech's Robovan sector has already achieved over 50 million kilometers of safe operation globally. Qi added, "We look forward to AutoLogiX working closely with EMX, delivering safer and more efficient transport services that will help 7X further consolidate its position as a leading innovator in the global postal and logistics industry."

Laith Tahboub, General Manager of EMX, highlighted how integrating Level 4 autonomous vehicles enhances middle-mile operations' efficiency while improving safety and sustainability standards. He commented on EMX’s support for AutoLogiX: "Our operational partnership with AutoLogiX marks a significant step towards adopting next-generation smart mobility solutions within our logistics network."
