AUS Rises To Top 22% Globally In QS World Rankings 2025, Excels In UAE

The American University of Sharjah (AUS) has achieved a notable position in the QS World Rankings 2025, placing among the top 22 percent of ranked institutions globally. This accomplishment is attributed to significant improvements in academic reputation and citations per faculty. AUS advanced by 17 spots in academic reputation and surged by 48 spots in citations per faculty.

The QS World Rankings 2025 evaluated 5,663 global institutions across 106 locations, ranking 1,503 of them. Within the UAE, AUS is among the top three universities, securing second place in employer reputation and employment outcomes. Additionally, it ranked third in citations per faculty, international faculty, and sustainability.

For nine consecutive years, AUS has been ranked among the top 10 Arab universities according to QS Arab Region University Rankings (2024). This consistent regional recognition underscores the university's commitment to maintaining high standards of education and research.
