Arada Completes First Phase Of Naseej District With 920 Homes In Sharjah's Aljada

Arada has recently announced the completion of the first phase of its ambitious Naseej District within the AED35 billion Aljada megaproject in Sharjah. This milestone includes the finalization of eight residential buildings, known as the Tiraz buildings, which collectively house 920 homes. This development marks a significant step forward in the creation of a vibrant creative hub in Sharjah, designed to blend high-quality cultural, artistic, and retail experiences.

The Naseej District is poised to become a cornerstone for creativity and culture in Sharjah, thanks in part to its proximity to Il Teatro, a performing arts venue designed by renowned Japanese architect Tadao Ando. The district offers a variety of living spaces, including studios, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. These residences not only provide modern living amenities such as smart home features, health clubs, swimming pools, and children's play areas but also emphasize community and open spaces with their courtyard and park linkages.

The completion of the Tiraz 1-8 buildings brings the total number of units finished at Aljada to over 7,500. Ahmed Alkhoshaibi, Group CEO of Arada, expressed his enthusiasm for welcoming the first families to Naseej District. He highlighted the ongoing efforts to complete the remaining residential blocks and the upcoming contract award for Il Teatro by year's end. Alkhoshaibi also noted the significant appreciation in property values at Aljada since its launch, attributing this trend to the project's quality design and timely delivery of amenities.

Construction Milestones and Future Plans

The construction contract for the Tiraz buildings was awarded to Kuwaiti contractor Mohammad Abdulmohsen Al-Kharafi & Sons in February 2022. The first four buildings were completed in December 2023. Additionally, construction is underway for five Sokoon buildings and two Il Teatro Residences buildings, which will add another 625 homes to the district by the end of 2024. The Vida Aljada hotel complex, comprising four blocks and 529 units, is expected to be completed in the first half of 2025.

Spanning over 24 million square feet, Aljada stands as Sharjah’s largest project to date and represents a transformative destination for the emirate.
