Arabian Camel Auction At ADIHEX 2024 Achieves AED 2.5 Million In Sales

The 21st edition of the Abu Dhabi International Hunting and Equestrian Exhibition (ADIHEX) 2024 saw a notable Arabian camel auction, generating nearly AED2.5 million from the sale of 15 camels. Organised by ADNEC Group in partnership with the Advanced Scientific Group, the event took place at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi.

This year's exhibition, concluding on Sunday, hosted the largest and most significant auction for purebred Arabian camels. These camels are highly esteemed in the UAE and GCC countries for their racing prowess. Camel racing is deeply rooted in regional heritage, with fierce competition among bidders aiming to secure top breeds known for their racing capabilities.

ADIHEX Camel Auction Hits AED 2.5M

The auction showcased some of the most distinguished purebred Arabian camels, renowned for their success in races across the UAE and Gulf region. The sale included young male and female camels from elite breeds, celebrated for their exceptional racing skills. The Advanced Scientific Group, co-organiser of the auction, plays a pivotal role in producing purebred camels. Established in 1990 under the guidance of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, this group has dedicated itself to preserving and enhancing the production of renowned purebred Arabian camels.
