Dubai To Host The 12th Arabia CSR And Sustainability Forum This October

The Arabia Corporate Social Responsibility Network (ACSRN) has unveiled the agenda for the 12th cycle of the Arabia Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainability Forum. Scheduled for 9th and 10th October, it will be held at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce under the Ministry of Economy's patronage.

Habiba Al Mar’ashi, Founder and CEO of ACSRN, emphasised that this year's forum theme is "Sustainable Prosperity: Reorienting for a Balanced Future". The event will feature keynote speeches each day and five panel discussions on topics like economy, innovation, investment, AI, entrepreneurship, environmental sustainability, and social development.

12th Arabia CSR Forum in Dubai

The forum will host Dr. Sithembiso Gile Gladys Nyoni, Minister of Environment, Climate and Wildlife of Zimbabwe. She will deliver a keynote address, adding a significant Global South perspective to the discussions.

The first day will begin with a keynote titled "Regenerating Our Planet: Innovative Solutions for Climate Adaptation and Change". Following this, "Empowering Change: Promoting Water and Energy Transitions in the Arab World" will discuss sustainable solutions for critical infrastructure sectors. Other sessions include "Future Proofing Our Cities: Sustainable Disaster Readiness" and "Smart Sustainability: Best Practices from the Global South".

On the second day, another keynote titled "Redesigning the Core: Driving Sustainable Transformation from Within" will be presented. The day's sessions include "Creating Value with Sustainable Investments: Strategies, Practices and Examples" focusing on innovative investment approaches. The final session is "Building Value through the Circular Economy: Strategies and Innovations", which will explore sustainable circular economic models.

Reflecting on past successes, Al Mar’ashi noted that the forum attracts a diverse audience including C-Suite executives from private companies, top government officials, UN agency representatives, investment firms, industries, academia, media, and youth. This variety enriches discussions around CSR and sustainability.

Al Mar’ashi highlighted that the forum aims to gather experts, thought leaders, and decision-makers from across the Arab region and beyond. They will address urgent regional and global challenges while sharing best practices from the Global South through panel discussions and interactive Q&A sessions.

Al Mar’ashi stressed that this forum offers an invaluable opportunity for stakeholders committed to sustainability to connect. She invited all concerned with CSR, ESG, and sustainability challenges to attend. Participants can engage in developing solutions for pressing global issues.

The forum's goal is to foster actionable solutions for sustainable development through dialogue sessions. It aims to convene prominent figures to share expertise and contribute to shaping national and global sustainability agendas.
