Aqari Platform Revolutionises Real Estate Services In Sharjah With Digital Integration

The "Aqari" platform, developed by the Sharjah Digital Department with over 20 local and federal government entities, has become a central digital hub for real estate services in Sharjah. It was launched under the Digital Sharjah Platform to advance the real estate sector and promote digital transformation. By integrating services into one ecosystem accessible via digital channels and mobile apps, users can complete transactions more efficiently.

In just six months, Aqari has completed over 2,000 fully digital transactions in Sharjah. These include company management, Power of Attorney registration, and real estate unit enrolment. The platform's database now includes over 42,000 new units, more than 1,300 buildings, and over 2 million square metres of vacant land.

Aqari offers a range of real estate services such as company management and Power of Attorney registration. It also facilitates real estate unit enrolment. Future phases will introduce additional services like rental solutions, dispute resolution, and a dedicated portfolio for property developers and brokers.

Operationally, 12 government service centres have fully adopted Aqari with a 100% utilisation rate. This success is supported by over 90 certified administrative users who ensure seamless digital processing of all transactions.

Aqari aims to digitise real estate services to reduce transaction times and enhance transparency. It seeks to empower investors and stakeholders while improving customer experience for individuals, companies, developers, brokers, banks, and real estate offices.

Sheikh Saud bin Sultan Al Qasimi commented on Aqari's success: "The success of the Aqari platform within just six months reflects our strategic vision for Sharjah’s digital transformation. It underscores our commitment to enhancing the emirate’s competitiveness by building an integrated digital ecosystem that drives sustainable development, rooted in innovation and good governance while placing people at the heart of every advancement."

He further stated: "By unifying real estate services under a single platform with a comprehensive database, we not only streamline procedures and improve government efficiency but also strengthen transparency, investor confidence, and data-driven decision-making. Our ambition goes beyond service improvement; it is about positioning Sharjah as a regional and global hub for digital excellence fully aligned with the emirate’s strategic aspirations."
