ANCI And SEE Institute Join Forces To Boost Arab Creativity And Sustainability

The Arab Network for Creativity and Innovation (ANCI) has formalised a partnership with SEE Institute in The Sustainable City – Dubai. This collaboration aims to bolster creativity and innovation, aligning with the future aspirations of both entities.

Sheikh Faisal bin Saud Al Qasimi, Supreme Chairman of ANCI, and Engineer Faris Saeed, founder and Chairman of SEE Institute, signed the agreement. The signing was witnessed by Dr. Mahmoud Abdel-Al Farraj, Chairman of ANCI's Board of Directors, Mr. Fahd Fayez Al-Amla, Secretary-General of ANCI, Engineer Ismat Abu Baker, CEO of SEE Engineering, and Ali Abu Baker, Executive Director of SEE Institute. Also present were network members including artist Manal Musa and lawyer Esraa Al-Rifai.

Boosting Arab Innovation  amp amp  Sustainability

The agreement focuses on enhancing cooperation to support creators and innovators in the Arab world. Both organisations will organise awareness initiatives, specialised seminars, and joint scientific research to foster creativity across various fields.

The delegation took a tour of SEE Institute's facilities during their visit. SEE Institute is a hub for sustainability education and research. It houses the region's first net zero emissions building, which aims to achieve net zero by 2030.

The tour also included The Sustainable City - Dubai's facilities. These facilities are designed to achieve social, environmental, and economic sustainability strategies through clean energy use, food production, water recycling, waste management, and promoting electric transport.

During the tour, the delegation visited residential areas, an urban farm, a plaza, Sanad Village, the Equestrian Center, and a green mosque. The Sustainable City serves as a living laboratory for testing new solutions in sustainability.

"The collaboration between ANCI and SEE Institute marks a significant step towards supporting innovation in the Arab world," said Sheikh Faisal bin Saud Al Qasimi.

Engineer Faris Saeed added that this partnership would help advance sustainability goals through shared knowledge and resources. This partnership is expected to drive forward initiatives that align with both organisations' visions for a sustainable future while fostering creativity within the region.
