AmSpec Dubai Laboratory Strengthens UAE Agri-Food Sector With Advanced Testing Capabilities

AmSpec Group has launched a new Agri & Food laboratory in Dubai Science Park, adding fresh testing capacity for agricultural and food products in the UAE. The facility is designed to support stricter regulations, growing trade flows, and rising food safety needs across the UAE and the wider Middle East.

The Dubai laboratory reinforces AmSpec Group’s long-term plans in the region, as clients seek reliable inspection, testing, and certification across complex supply chains. Located in Dubai Science Park, part of TECOM Group PJSC, the site aims to improve regional access to advanced analytical services for agricultural commodities, animal feed, and food and beverage products.

The AmSpec Dubai laboratory operates around the clock and employs more than 30 analysts and technical specialists. It is fitted with specialised equipment that can test for pesticide residues, broad-spectrum mycotoxins, drug and antibiotic residues, and heavy metals, alongside genetic and molecular analysis for transgenics and biological contaminants.

Through this laboratory, AmSpec Group is expanding its international network of inspection, testing, and certification services that help businesses meet quality, safety, and regulatory requirements. The investment also strengthens Dubai’s and the UAE’s status as a centre for scientific activity and trade, supporting regional food supply chains and regulatory oversight.
