Almarai Launches Chefs Program To Empower Local Entrepreneurs In Riyadh

Almarai Company has entered into a cooperation agreement with the Social Development Bank to initiate the "Almarai Chefs Program". This initiative aims to bolster and empower owners of very small cooking projects in the Riyadh region, demonstrating Almarai's commitment to supporting entrepreneurs.

The agreement was signed by Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bader, CEO of Almarai Company, and Eng. Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Humaidi, CEO of the Social Development Bank. The agreement outlines several areas of collaboration between the two entities.

Almarai s New Chef Program Aids Entrepreneurs

Under this agreement, Almarai will finance cooking training projects and help identify activities for financing and training. They will also provide food products, equipment, and tools for projects participating in the program. Meanwhile, the Social Development Bank, through the Dulani Business Center, will offer solutions and services to qualify the targeted group via empowerment and development programs.

The Social Development Bank will also nominate productive family projects to join the program in collaboration with Almarai. This partnership is designed to ensure continuous support for emerging entrepreneurs in the food sector.

Abdullah bin Nasser Al Bader expressed his satisfaction with the collaboration, stating that the Almarai Chefs Program will significantly empower emerging entrepreneurs in the food sector. He emphasized that this initiative would positively impact owners of very small cooking projects by providing ongoing support and enhancing their contributions to this vital sector.

Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Humaidi highlighted that the cooperation agreement targets owners of very small projects in the cooking and productive families sector in Riyadh. He noted that this effort aims to develop small businesses into sustainable projects, achieving tangible economic returns for participating ventures.

Al Humaidi further stated: "The cooperation agreement with Almarai Company targets owners of very small projects in the cooking and productive families sector in the Riyadh region, in an effort to develop small businesses and contribute to their transformation into sustainable projects, and achieve a tangible economic return for the participating projects, as we focus permanently on supporting innovators to launch qualitative projects that we are proud of in the food and cooking sector in the Kingdom."
