Algorithm And Batterjee Pharma Partner To Localise Pharmaceuticals In Saudi Arabia

Algorithm, a major pharmaceutical company in the region, has formed a strategic alliance with Saudi Arabia's Batterjee Pharma. This partnership, marking a first for a Lebanese company, will localise Algorithm's product range within the Kingdom. The agreement involves the production and supply of several products that are licensed in both the EU and Japan.

The initial phase of this collaboration will focus on medications for critical conditions such as hyperlipidemia, dyslipidemia, and hypertension. By mid-2026, a complete technology transfer is expected. This effort aligns with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 and the Health Sector Transformation Program, aiming to bolster healthcare infrastructure, lessen dependence on imported medications, and elevate treatment standards.
