Aldar Joins Forces With DP World For New Logistics Park In Dubai

Aldar Properties and DP World have entered into a strategic partnership to develop a 1.55 million sqft (144,000 sqm) Grade A logistics park at National Industries Park (NIP) in Jebel Ali, Dubai. This collaboration will enable Aldar to develop and lease assets within NIP, which is strategically located near Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport, and connected to major road networks like the E11 and E311.

The logistics park's location within NIP offers excellent access to key transport hubs. It is positioned near Jebel Ali Port and Al Maktoum International Airport, providing seamless connectivity to major road networks such as the E11 and E311. This strategic positioning is expected to attract significant interest from third-party logistics (3PL), eCommerce, and retail tenants looking to expand or relocate.

Construction of the new logistics park will commence in Q4 2024, with the first tenants expected to move in by Q4 2025. The project aims to meet the high demand for warehousing facilities in the region.

The Grade A logistics park will be built on a 2.36 million sqft (220,000 sqm) plot and will feature three modular buildings. These buildings can be adapted for single or multi-tenanted use, offering flexible unit sizes. The park will also be LEED certified, ensuring it meets high environmental standards.

Aldar will oversee the entire development process of the logistics park, from concept and design to execution and management. This project is part of Aldar’s AED1 billion investment plan to expand its logistics real estate business in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
