Al Waseef Group Contributes AED 2 Million To Support UAE Fathers' Endowment Campaign

Al Waseef Group has contributed AED2 million to the Fathers’ Endowment campaign. This initiative, launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, aims to honour fathers in the UAE. The campaign, coinciding with Ramadan, seeks to establish a sustainable endowment fund to provide healthcare for those in need.

The campaign is part of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives (MBRGI). It allows individuals to donate in their father's name, promoting values like honouring parents and compassion. This initiative strengthens the UAE's reputation as a leader in humanitarian work and reinforces the concept of charitable endowments.

He stated that it embodies generosity and compassion, focusing on improving lives by providing sustainable healthcare access. Memoni emphasised the importance of social responsibility in their contribution.

Memoni expressed that Al Waseef Group's involvement shows their dedication to social responsibility. The group aims to support the campaign’s goals during Ramadan by helping those in need.

The Fathers’ Endowment campaign welcomes donations from both institutions and individuals through six main channels. Contributions can be made via the campaign’s website (Fathersfund.ae) or a dedicated call centre at 800 4999. Bank transfers are also accepted in UAE dirhams through Emirates Islamic Bank.

Donations can be made via SMS by sending "Father" to specific numbers for different amounts: 1034 for AED10, 1035 for AED50, 1036 for AED100, and 1038 for AED500. These options are available for Etisalat by e& and du users. Other platforms include the DubaiNow app under "Donations" and Dubai’s Jood platform (Jood.ae).

This campaign not only honours fathers but also promotes solidarity within the community. By encouraging donations in fathers' names, it fosters a sense of unity and shared responsibility among residents of the UAE.
