The "PulseSelect" technology employs electrical pulses to isolate excess electric impulses around the pulmonary veins in the left atrium. This method provides a safe and effective treatment for atrial fibrillation. The adoption of this technology aligns with EHS's mission to equip its facilities with modern technologies, enhancing healthcare quality and patient outcomes.

Dr. Mohamed Magdi, Consultant and Head of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Department at Al Qassimi Hospital, noted that atrial fibrillation affects millions globally. He emphasised that "PulseSelect" represents a significant advancement in treatment due to its high precision, safety, and effectiveness.

Dr. Magdy also mentioned that this innovative approach is expected to improve treatment outcomes and reduce complications. Patients can be discharged as soon as one day after the procedure, highlighting the efficiency of this new technology.

This initiative is part of EHS's broader efforts to enhance healthcare services across its facilities. It supports the "We the UAE 2031" vision and UAE Centennial 2071 goals by improving patients' quality of life through advanced medical solutions.

Regional Leadership in Healthcare

Through this achievement under EHS, Al Qassimi Hospital continues to lead in healthcare innovation and progress. This accomplishment reaffirms its commitment to delivering advanced medical solutions that serve the community and elevate UAE's global healthcare standing.

EHS remains dedicated to medical advancement and excellence, reinforcing its status as a leading healthcare authority both locally and internationally.
