Dr. Mohamed Magdi, a consultant and head of the Cardiac Electrophysiology Department at Al Qassimi Hospital in Sharjah, led a significant medical procedure in Switzerland. He performed Europe's first implantation of the "Aveir VR," a single-chamber, wireless cardiac pacemaker, at Bern University Hospital.
