Al Qasimia University And International Islamic Fiqh Academy Sign MoU For Enhanced Cooperation

Al Qasimia University in Sharjah has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the International Islamic Fiqh Academy, which is part of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation. This collaboration aims to boost joint efforts in scientific research, Islamic studies, and humanitarian sciences.

The agreement continues Al Qasimia University's mission to create an international network that supports its goals of advancing knowledge and science. It also highlights the university's dedication to enhancing its global academic presence. The signing event occurred at Al Qasimia University's headquarters in Sharjah, attended by Professor Dr. Awad Al Khalaf, Director of Al Qasimia University, and Professor Dr. Qutb Mustafa Sano, Secretary-General of the International Islamic Fiqh Academy.

Al Qasimia University Signs MoU with Academy

The MoU focuses on strengthening partnerships in areas like scientific research and studies. Both institutions have committed to collaborate on producing, developing, disseminating, and applying knowledge to improve individual and community lives. They will also address contemporary issues related to Islamic and humanitarian sciences while providing Islamic legal perspectives on current challenges.

Joint Scientific Events and Resource Exchange

Plans outlined in the memorandum include organising joint scientific events such as conferences, seminars, and discussion forums. The partnership will also enable the exchange of publications and educational resources on Islamic and humanitarian topics. This initiative aligns with Al Qasimia University's vision of fostering intellectual communication and forming strategic partnerships with leading academic institutions.

Professor Dr. Al Khalaf emphasised that this agreement supports the university's role in promoting moderation and balance while addressing intellectual and legal matters within the Islamic world. Professor Dr. Sano expressed pride in the MoU, noting it will expand cooperation between the academy and Al Qasimia University.
