Al Jazira Jiu-Jitsu Club Achieves Top Position At Abu Dhabi World Youth Championship

Al Jazira Jiu-Jitsu Club emerged victorious on the medal table during the second day of the Abu Dhabi World Youth Jiu-Jitsu Championship. This event is part of the 16th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship, held at Mubadala Arena. Commando Group secured second place, while the Kazakhstan National Team finished third. The championship attracted top athletes from international clubs and academies, showcasing its importance in promoting jiu-jitsu globally.

The event was attended by key figures such as Abdulmunem Alsayed Mohamed Alhashmi, Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation and President of the Asian Jiu-Jitsu Union. Other notable attendees included Abdullah Naser Al Junaibi, Chairman of the UAE’s Pro League Committee, and Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice Chairman of the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation. Their presence highlighted the championship's significance in advancing jiu-jitsu.

Mohamed Salem Al Dhaheri praised young athletes for their exceptional performances. He stated: "Today, we witnessed future champions deliver outstanding performances characterised by skill, enthusiasm, and professionalism. Abdullah Naser Al Junaibi expressed pride in hosting this prestigious event in Abu Dhabi. Aysha Saif Mohammed Al Mansouri from Abu Dhabi Autism Centre shared her thoughts on attending this significant championship.
