Al Jalila Foundation Secures AED 10 Million Donation For Dubai Health's Innovation Centre

Al Jalila Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Dubai Health, has received a significant donation of AED 10 million from Easa Saleh Al Gurg Charity Foundation and AW Rostamani Group. This funding will aid in establishing the Centre for Innovation and Technology, aiming to advance healthcare through innovation, technology, and collaboration.

The Centre for Innovation and Technology is set to revolutionise healthcare by transforming research and ideas into practical solutions. It will focus on improving patient care and outcomes by integrating clinical expertise with design practice and technology. The centre draws inspiration from global leaders in healthcare innovation.

AED 10 Million Donation for Innovation Centre

Four key areas will be prioritised at the centre: AI and Data, Robotics and Sensors, Digital Medicine, and Design4Health. These dedicated labs will develop, test, and scale healthcare solutions. This approach ensures that Dubai Health remains a leader in health sciences innovation.

Strategic partnerships across private sectors and leading academic institutions in the UAE, United States, Europe, and Asia Pacific will support this initiative. These collaborations aim to accelerate medical advancements by fostering cooperation among students, clinicians, researchers, engineers, designers, startups, and industry leaders.

Dr. Raja Easa Saleh Al Gurg emphasised the importance of advancing healthcare through research and technology. "Dubai Health is committed to advancing healthcare," she stated. "Our contribution reflects our belief in Dubai Health’s vision to lead in medical excellence."
