Al Hilal Bank Names Jamal Al Awadhi As CEO For Digital Growth

Al Hilal Bank has recently made a strategic move by appointing Jamal Al Awadhi as its new Chief Executive Officer. This decision comes as the bank aims to push forward its growth plans and strengthen its standing as the leading Shariah-compliant digital bank in the UAE.

Al Awadhi, with a rich background spanning over two decades in leadership roles across various sectors, is set to lead this ambitious journey. Before his latest role, Al Awadhi was instrumental in the financial services, media, IT, and aviation sectors. His last positions included being the Deputy CEO at Al Hilal Bank since May 2024, the Chief Operating Officer at Wio Bank, and the Chief Executive Officer at Abu Dhabi Media. His extensive experience and diverse background position him well to propel Al Hilal Bank towards its goal.
