Al-Futtaim Contracting Partners With Hyundai Elevator For Saudi Arabia Expansion

In a move that underscores its commitment to excellence and innovation, Al-Futtaim Contracting recently entered into a partnership with Hyundai Elevator, known for its vertical transportation solutions. This collaboration is set to bring the latest in elevator and escalator technologies to Saudi Arabia.

Following the agreement, Al-Futtaim Contracting will become the exclusive dealer for Hyundai Elevator in Saudi Arabia. This means they will be the sole provider for a comprehensive range of vertical transportation solutions, including high-speed elevators, moving walks, escalators, and machine-room-less elevators.

This strategic alliance was formalised in Seoul, South Korea, at Hyundai Elevator's headquarters by Murali S., managing director of Al-Futtaim Contracting, and Yum Kyu Sang, head of global sales for Hyundai Elevator.

During this visit, Murali also explored Hyundai's Smart Campus and the impressive Hyundai Asan Test Tower in Chung-Ju City, which houses some of the world's fastest elevators, reaching speeds of up to 21m/s. This experience highlighted Hyundai's global supremacy in elevator technology, reinforcing the potential of this partnership.

This collaboration is poised to support Saudi Arabia's ambitious urban development and infrastructure projects, bringing unparalleled efficiency, safety, and design to the region's vertical mobility landscape.
