Al Fanar Gas Group And Siemens Energy Sign Strategic MoU For Clean Energy Collaboration
Al Fanar Gas Group, a division of EHC Investment, has entered into a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Siemens Energy. This partnership aims to promote decarbonisation and clean energy innovation throughout the UAE. The agreement was formalised during the World Utilities Congress 2025 in Abu Dhabi, aligning with the UAE's Net Zero 2050 Strategy.
The collaboration focuses on developing clean energy solutions that incorporate advanced digital technologies into energy and industrial infrastructure. Key areas include hydrogen and Power-to-X, flare gas management, and electrification of ports and vessels. These initiatives will be supported by comprehensive feasibility studies to identify scalable solutions for seamless integration into existing energy networks.

Siemens Energy's global expertise in digitalisation will play a crucial role in this partnership. The company plans to introduce intelligent systems designed to optimise energy consumption, monitor emissions, and streamline operations. This approach aims to accelerate the energy transition in a practical and measurable manner.
