The launch of Al Ain Winterland is aligned with broader development plans that seek to reinforce Al Ain Region as a year-round destination for families, supported by continued investment in infrastructure, upgraded community services and the creation of recreational and sports facilities designed for all segments of the population.

Al Ain Winterland features a winter-themed setting that combines entertainment, family activities and sports experiences, including ice-skating and adventure games, alongside dedicated areas where children and youth can take part in interactive games that encourage participation, physical movement and shared experiences across different age groups.

Beyond games and sports attractions, Al Ain Winterland offers heritage-themed restaurants and cafés reflecting Al Ain Region’s cultural identity, while creative programmes and artistic and cultural workshops aim to build children’s skills, encourage innovation and provide an integrated setting that supports the growth of young creative talents.

Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan toured Al Ain Winterland with Rashed Musabbeh Al Manei, Director-General of Al Ain City Municipality, Brigadier Saeed Humaid bin Dalmouj Al Dhaheri, Director of Al Ain Police Directorate, and several other officials, highlighting the event’s role in expanding community-focused recreation across Al Ain Region.
