Al Ain FC Partners With ADNOC And XRG For Historic Sponsorship Agreement

Dr. Sultan bin Ahmed Al Jaber, Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology, and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC, attended a significant agreement signing between Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, ADNOC, and XRG. This event took place at ADNOC headquarters. The agreement designates ADNOC as the official sponsor for Al Ain's first football team’s jersey during local matches in the upcoming season.

XRG will sponsor the team's training kit for their participation in the FIFA Clubs World Cup 2025, extending through to the season's end. Rashid Abdullah, CEO of Al Ain Investment Company, signed on behalf of Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club. Saif Atiq Al Falahi represented XRG and ADNOC. The signing was witnessed by board members of Al Ain Football Company, including Mohammed Ibrahim Al Mahmoud and Mohammed Saif Al Katabi.

Mohammed Saif Al Katabi highlighted that this partnership with ADNOC exemplifies a sophisticated model integrating sporting ambitions with economic development goals. He noted that Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club's objectives align with ADNOC’s national economic aims and XRG’s strategic investments in natural gas, chemicals, and low-carbon energy solutions.

It contributes to strengthening the UAE model as a global example."

Al Katabi further explained that this agreement is more than just sponsorship; it is an investment in national values that combine leadership, sustainability, and honourable representation of the UAE on both sporting and economic platforms. He expressed confidence that this strategic partnership will help achieve shared goals while enhancing Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club's standing.

Saif Al Falahi remarked on the significance of this historic agreement with Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club. He said it aligns with directives from wise leadership to advance UAE sports. "In line with the wise leadership’s directives to elevate the UAE sports sector, ADNOC and XRG are pleased to sign this historic agreement with Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club, who will represent the UAE in global football at the Clubs World Cup 2025," he added.
