Ajman Chamber Engages At IBTM World Exhibition 2025 To Boost Business Tourism
The Ajman Chamber, alongside the Department of Tourism, Culture, and Media in Ajman, is set to join the 2025 IBTM World event. This global exhibition, dedicated to the MICE industry, will take place from 18th to 20th November in Barcelona, Spain. It will host over 2,500 exhibitors from more than 150 countries.
The exhibition will spotlight four main themes: enhancing skills and attracting talent in the events industry; the swift expansion of the sector in the Middle East and Africa; advancing digital transformation with artificial intelligence's influence on future events; and promoting sustainability and eco-friendly practices throughout the industry.

Ali Rashid Al Kaitoob, Executive Director of the Studies and Investment Development Sector, highlighted that Ajman's participation underscores its progress as a business tourism hub locally and regionally. He stated that this aligns with Ajman Vision 2030 by enhancing the business environment and bolstering investment promotion programmes.
Fatima Yaqoob Al Awadhi, Head of the Investment Attraction Section at Ajman Chamber, emphasised that their aim is to boost Ajman's international presence as a prime destination for meetings and conferences. She noted that this event offers a platform to expand international cooperation networks and forge partnerships.
Al Awadhi further explained that attracting global events supports Ajman's tourism and hospitality sectors. It also benefits key areas such as education, healthcare, services, real estate, industry, and trade. These efforts contribute to sustainable growth and enhance Ajman's standing on the global economic stage.
The participation in IBTM World reflects Ajman's commitment to fostering innovation within its business tourism sector. By engaging with international stakeholders at such events, Ajman aims to leverage new opportunities for growth while promoting sustainable practices across its industries.
