Middle East Aviation Careers Trade Show To Launch At Air Expo Abu Dhabi 2024
The Air Expo is preparing to introduce the first Middle East Aviation Careers (MEAC) Trade Show and Conference at Air Expo Abu Dhabi 2024. Scheduled from 19th to 21st November at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (ADNEC), this event aims to inspire future aviation professionals. It will offer a platform for career exploration, knowledge sharing, and discussions on human capital development in the UAE and the Middle East.
This specialised career fair will host key companies, industry experts, and over 40 leading flight training schools. Attendees can engage directly with employers and gain insights into career paths within the fast-evolving aviation sector. Opportunities will span roles in airlines, cabin crew, pilot training, airport management, engineering, and more.

The Middle East is rapidly becoming a global aviation hub due to its strategic location and significant investments in the sector. This has led to an increased demand for skilled professionals in aviation management, operations, maintenance, and technology. The event aims to address this demand by connecting aspiring professionals with employers and training institutions.
According to Airbus' Global Services Forecast, the commercial aircraft services market in the Middle East is projected to more than double by 2042. It is expected to grow from US$12 billion today to US$28 billion, with an annual growth rate of 4.4 percent. This growth necessitates a substantial number of skilled aviation professionals.
The region will require 208,000 new professionals over the next two decades. This includes 56,000 pilots, 52,000 technicians, and 100,000 cabin crew members. The MEAC Trade Show and Conference aims to play a crucial role in meeting these workforce needs by facilitating connections between job seekers and industry leaders.
Didier Mary, CEO and Founder of Air Expo, stated: "We are excited to announce the launch of the Middle East Aviation Careers Trade Show and Conference at Air Expo Abu Dhabi 2024. This initiative goes beyond facilitating recruitment; it aims to cultivate a setting that encourages learning, collaboration, and long-term career growth."
Abu Dhabi's Vision for Aviation
"Our event highlights Abu Dhabi's vision as a global leader in the region's aviation ecosystem," Mary continued. By uniting industry experts, companies, and educational institutions, they aim to equip future aviation professionals with essential tools for success.
Aviation remains a key driver of Abu Dhabi's economy. It significantly contributes to GDP, employment opportunities, and global connectivity. The collaborative network of airlines and educational institutions in Abu Dhabi is well-positioned to meet increasing demands with exceptional expertise.
The MEAC Trade Show promises to be an important event for those interested in pursuing careers in aviation within the Middle East region. It offers unique opportunities for engagement with industry leaders while addressing workforce demands driven by regional growth.
