AIM Congress 2025 Showcases Investment Opportunities And Global Partnerships Across Russia
The Russia Investment Forum at AIM Congress 2025 aimed to draw investment by showcasing diverse opportunities across Russia's regions. Dmitry Kurochkin, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Russian Federation (CCI RF), led the session. Regional leaders and industry innovators discussed initiatives in green tech, digital reputation management, healthcare, infrastructure, and natural resource development.
Sergei Katyrin, President of CCI RF, highlighted Russia's growth in agriculture, livestock, construction materials, and medical manufacturing. The country is expanding its exports to include halal-certified ecological food and blood plasma-based antiviral vaccines. Katyrin emphasised the readiness of industrial parks for investment and the robust logistics supporting regional projects. Ryazan and Krasnodar were noted as key growth hubs with developments in culture, agriculture, and infrastructure.

Andrei Shestakov from the Tula Chamber of Commerce spotlighted Tula's advancements in medical technologies and infrastructure. With investment-friendly zones and innovation centers, Tula ranks second in investment productivity in Russia. Upcoming projects include wellness facilities, a cargo terminal, and poultry production units. Anton Garanin echoed Tula’s strengths in high-tech industries supported by a strong transport network.
Aleksei Aleksandrov from EcoChemTech introduced an innovative waste management solution that transforms over a million tons of sewage sludge into fertile soil. This process eliminates heavy metals and pathogens. The company seeks strategic partnerships in the UAE to align with local environmental goals and reduce landfill reliance.
Vladimir Platonov discussed Reputation House's rise as a leader in AI-driven digital reputation protection. With a global presence in cities like Dubai and Hong Kong, the firm is preparing for an IPO. It seeks $2–3 million to expand its digital infrastructure further.
Marina Bogoslovskaya invited investment in Yakutia’s Arctic Aqua project aimed at addressing global water scarcity using pure artesian reserves. Yakutia also offers opportunities in eco-tourism due to its resource-rich land with diamonds, timber, and gold.
Strategic Regional Developments
Tatiana Veretennikova promoted Khabarovsk Krai’s strategic location near China along with its rich mineral base. Fast-growing sectors like shipbuilding, mining, and tourism are thriving here. The region's biodiverse ecosystems enhance its tourism appeal.
Sergey Smorodnikov highlighted Amur’s energy sector strength with three hydroelectric power plants and abundant minerals. He stressed Amur's commitment to international cooperation through forums like the Russian-Chinese Forum.
Aleksandr Mikhailovich Osipo concluded by discussing Zabaykalsky Krai’s investment landscape with 55 new projects launched last year creating 9,500 jobs. Its proximity to China combined with expansive mining operations makes it attractive for global investors.
