AIM Congress Enhances Global Partnerships To Drive Economic Growth And Investment Opportunities
The AIM Congress in Abu Dhabi strengthens the UAE's status as a global hub for foreign direct investment and trade. Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Minister of State for Foreign Trade and President of AIM Congress, highlighted this during a press conference at the Emirates News Agency (WAM) theatre. The event announced partners for the 14th edition of AIM Congress 2025, involving key stakeholders and international representatives.
Dawood Al Shezawi, President of AIM Global Foundation, described the congress as a unique platform for global leaders to discuss investment futures. "AIM Congress represents an exceptional global platform that brings together thought leaders, decision-makers, and entrepreneurs from around the world to exchange ideas and visions on the future of global investment," he stated. This year's themes focus on economic transformations and business priorities.
Al Shezawi emphasized partnerships with institutions worldwide to boost economic development. "AIM Congress is proud of its partnership with a distinguished array of institutions, companies, and organizations from all over the world who share our vision of enhancing economic development and international cooperation," he added. These collaborations aim to foster communication among summit participants.
Juma Mohammed Al Kait, Assistant Under-Secretary for Foreign Trade Affairs at the Ministry of Economy, formalized partnerships through memoranda of understanding. Notable agreements included one with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi, represented by Saeed Ali Obaid Al Fazari. These partnerships are crucial for facilitating growth between the UAE and other nations.
Abdulla Al Suwaidi from ADGM represented Future Finance portfolio partners. Shamis Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri from Abu Dhabi Chamber signed for global trade portfolio collaboration. Mohamed Al Hammadi from WAM was present as Jamal Nasser Al Suwaider signed as official media partner. These stakeholders play vital roles in supporting various portfolios within AIM Congress.
Afif Barhoumi signed on behalf of UNIDO’s Investment Technology Promotion Office in Bahrain. Helmut von Struve from Siemens partnered for Global Manufacturing portfolio initiatives. Joern Siegle from FrankfurtRheinMain GmbH joined as a partner for future finance discussions. Their involvement underscores the diverse expertise contributing to AIM Congress's success.

Holger Schlechter from IFZA and Fayez Abu Awad from GSMA contributed to Future Cities portfolio efforts. Bashar Kilani from AI360 Innovation and Ilya Churakov from AI Alliance focused on Digital Economy advancements. Abdul Rahim Al Nuaimi signed as a main media partner while Mazen Singer joined as digital media partner, highlighting media's role in promoting innovation.
