AIM Congress 2024 Concludes Promotional Tour In Latin America With Success

The AIM Congress 2024 roadshow recently concluded its Latin American tour, marking a significant step in strengthening the economic ties between the UAE and Latin America. The series of meetings and engagements took place across Sao Paulo, Brazil; Lima, Peru; and Bogota, Colombia, highlighting the dynamic economic opportunities and fostering connections between key stakeholders from both regions.

In Sao Paulo, the roadshow's commencement was marked by meetings with influential organizations such as the GRI Club and LIDE. These interactions underscored a mutual commitment to international collaboration, with LIDE organizing a Brazil – UAE forum in Dubai to further cement economic bonds. Additionally, discussions with Patria Investments and the Arab Brazilian Chamber of Commerce focused on enhancing trade and investment opportunities through strategic partnerships.

The visit to Lima featured productive sessions with the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Tourism (MINCETUR), emphasizing the goal of establishing a business corridor between Latin America and Asia via the UAE. PROMPERU, Peru's official tourism board, expressed interest in participating in the 2024 AIM Congress. Warmi Ventures also signed an MoU with AIM Global Foundation, becoming a national partner for the AIM Startup competition.

In Colombia, the promotional tour engaged with entities such as PROCOLOMBIA, Invest in Bogota, and the Colombia Private Equity Association (COLCAP), among others. These meetings highlighted Colombia's regional initiatives and competitive advantages, aiming to attract foreign investment and spur economic growth.

Dawood Al Shezawi, President of the AIM Congress and the AIM Global Foundation, stated, "AIM Congress 2024 will play a vital role in facilitating communication among global leaders and key stakeholders in the investment field." He expressed gratitude towards the UAE ambassadors in Brazil, Peru, and Colombia for their support in making the promotional tours successful.

The AIM Congress 2024 is set to be held from 7th to 9th May 2024 in Abu Dhabi under the theme "Adapting to a Shifting Investment Landscape: Harnessing New Potentials for Global Economic Development." Organized with support from the UAE Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology and with the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development as lead partner, the summit aims to stimulate collaboration and propose innovative solutions to current and future challenges in global economic development.
