AI Innovations Showcased By Tech Experts At SRTI Park Business Breakfast Event

At a recent Business Breakfast event hosted by the Sharjah Research Technology and Innovation Park (SRTI Park), tech experts and companies showcased various advancements in AI. The event, themed "Born in Sharjah, Built for the World," featured insights from firms like Al Hathboor Bikal, Nvidia, HP, and Qamia. They discussed AI and quantum computing innovations developed at SRTI Park.

During the event, panelists emphasised three key components necessary for building an AI factory: people, technology, and economy. They stressed the importance of collaboration with data scientists, product managers, and CXOs to drive innovation. The technology stack essential for an AI factory includes data centres, intelligent compute stacks, orchestration platforms, and machine learning operations.

Hussain Al Mahmoudi, CEO of SRTI Park, spoke about the UAE's ambitions to lead in AI. He highlighted the need for increased investment in this sector. Al Mahmoudi stated: "This event is a platform to demonstrate how far Sharjah has come to create innovations for the world. Our aim is to connect these great companies with investors."

A standout product at the event was AHB’s Dialog XR, an LLM-Based Chatbot developed entirely at SRTI Park. This chatbot uses domain knowledge-based LLM to create a conversational platform that serves multiple purposes within organisations. It aims to enhance organisational performance by providing a versatile tool for both internal and external use.

SRTI Park officials also introduced attendees to their ecosystem's infrastructure and offerings during the event. Participants were given a tour of facilities such as the SoiLab (Sharjah Open Innovation Lab), showcasing how these resources support innovation and development within the park.

The discussions underscored how AI factories could foster regional innovation while contributing to solutions that are scalable on a global level. By leveraging advanced technologies, startups have opportunities to reach audiences beyond their local markets.

Overall, the event highlighted Sharjah's progress in creating world-class innovations and its strategy to attract startups in key areas like healthcare, sustainability, advanced manufacturing, mobility, and transport.
