Ahmed Bin Saeed Celebrates Graduation Of Over 300 Students At RIT Dubai Ceremony
RIT Dubai recently held its 14th graduation ceremony, awarding degrees to over 300 students in various bachelor's and master's programmes. The event was graced by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of the Dubai Integrated Economic Zones Authority (DIEZ). The university is seen as a model of collaboration between educational institutions and economic zones, contributing to Dubai's knowledge-driven economy.
Abdulrahman Saleh Al Saleh, Chairman of RIT Dubai's Board of Directors, highlighted the institution's role in supporting Dubai’s economic and social vision. He noted that RIT Dubai offers high-quality academic programmes that meet market needs, fostering innovation and knowledge. This positions the university as a comprehensive system for talent development and excellence.

Dr. Mohammed Al Zarooni, Executive Chairman of DIEZ, emphasized the university's importance in creating an integrated economic and knowledge ecosystem. He pointed out that RIT Dubai prepares future leaders and innovators in key areas like digital transformation, smart energy, and sustainable cities, aligning with the emirate’s strategic priorities.
Dr. Yousef Al-Assaf, President of RIT Dubai, shared plans to introduce new academic programmes in fields such as artificial intelligence, integrative design, health informatics, health management, advertising, and public relations. "We are planning to launch new academic programmes in areas such as artificial intelligence, integrative design, health informatics, health management, advertising, and public relations," he said.
The introduction of these programmes reflects RIT Dubai's commitment to academic innovation and adapting to market demands. Dr. Al-Assaf stated that the goal is for every graduate to be an ambassador of excellence and sustainability. This approach ensures that students are well-prepared for future challenges.
Since its inception in 2010, RIT Dubai has graduated more than 2,100 students across its bachelor's, master's, and diploma programmes. The institution continues to play a vital role in nurturing talent that contributes significantly to the UAE’s long-term goals.
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed highlighted the importance of investing in national talent for achieving the UAE Centennial 2071 objectives. He believes graduates are crucial for a future defined by excellence and global leadership.
