Ahmed Bin Mohammed Explores Innovations At World Police Summit 2025 In Dubai
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai, attended the exhibition at the World Police Summit 2025, hosted at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event, running until 15 May, is under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
The summit's theme, ‘Beyond the Badge: Envision the Next Era of Policing’, gathers global law enforcement leaders to discuss future policing and public safety. During his visit, H.H. was accompanied by Lieutenant General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of Dubai Police.
At the summit, H.H. Sheikh Ahmed learned about over 200 leading global companies showcasing advancements in AI, smart security systems, and next-generation technologies aimed at supporting law enforcement agencies and enhancing public safety.
He visited the Dubai Police platform to see the Ghiath Virtual Training Patrol. This advanced simulator helps train traffic officers and patrol drivers by replicating real-world scenarios. It aligns with Dubai Police’s strategy to offer world-class training and develop smart learning environments.
H.H. praised Dubai Police for adopting advanced technologies. He noted their ongoing innovations reinforce Dubai’s reputation as a top city for living, working, and visiting. These efforts contribute to achieving high global safety and security standards.
He emphasised that these capabilities result from leadership’s vision prioritising community security and safety. The leadership's guidance ensures protection for all individuals and institutions across various environments.
Interactive Initiatives for Youth
During his tour, H.H. also explored the Dubai Police esports platform. He was briefed on an interactive video game designed to educate youth on community safety and shared values through engaging digital formats.
The initiative uses familiar digital tools to deliver educational messages effectively to young audiences, promoting awareness in a relatable manner.
Exploring Future-Ready Solutions
H.H.’s tour included exploring solutions in AI, data analytics, cybersecurity, robotics, digital forensics, drone systems, and smart patrol vehicles tailored for diverse law enforcement operations.
