Ahmed Bin Mohammed And Lebanese Prime Minister Discuss Cooperation At Arab Media Summit In Dubai
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Second Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Media Council, recently met with Nawaf Salam, Prime Minister of Lebanon. This meeting took place during the Arab Media Summit 2025 in Dubai. H.H. Sheikh Ahmed warmly welcomed the Lebanese Prime Minister, highlighting the strong cooperative ties between the UAE and Lebanon.
The historical and fraternal bonds that unite the UAE and Lebanon were emphasised by H.H. Sheikh Ahmed. He expressed a desire to strengthen cooperation across various sectors, particularly media. The UAE's advanced technological capabilities and human resources have made it a hub for creativity and innovation, especially in media.

The meeting was attended by notable figures including H.H. Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairperson of the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority. Also present were Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohamed bin Butti Al Hamed, Chairman of the National Media Office and Chairman of the UAE Media Council, and Mona Ghanem Al Marri, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director of the Dubai Media Council.
Nawaf Salam praised the UAE's efforts in fostering development both regionally and internationally. He acknowledged Dubai's role in hosting significant events like the Arab Media Summit, which provides a platform for exchanging ideas to enhance Arab media.
The Lebanese Prime Minister expressed gratitude for the UAE's supportive stance towards Lebanon and its people. He wished further progress and prosperity for the UAE under its wise leadership. Salam commended Dubai for organising an event of such magnitude as the Arab Media Summit.
H.H. Sheikh Ahmed reiterated Dubai's commitment to expanding cooperation with Lebanon in various fields. The meeting underscored mutual respect and shared goals between both nations, aiming to elevate their partnership further.
