Klay Group Appoints Ahmad Chaudry As Global Head Of Structured Investments And Derivatives To Enhance Offerings

Klay Group, renowned for its specialized financial services to high-net-worth individuals and institutions, has announced the addition of Ahmad Chaudry to its team.

Ahmad will fill the role of Global Head of Structured Investments and Derivatives, a position created to enhance the firm’s offerings in structured solutions and elevate its advisory services on a global scale.

Operating from Dubai, Ahmad is set to spearhead the innovation in solutions across key asset categories, focusing particularly on structured investments, managing liquidity, and devising hedging strategies.

Ahmad Chaudry’s arrival at Klay Group is a significant milestone, marking the firm's dedication to broadening its structured solutions platform and bolstering its advisory capabilities worldwide.

With nearly two decades of experience in global investment banking, Ahmad has a proven track record in developing and executing custom solutions across various markets such as equities, fixed income, commodities, and liquid alternatives.

His expertise will be instrumental in Klay Group’s efforts to cater to the sophisticated needs of its clientele, which includes asset managers, insurance companies, pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, global family offices, and private banks.

Before joining Klay Group, Ahmad was part of UBS Investment Bank in Hong Kong, where he served as Co-Head of APAC Global Markets Structuring and Head of Global Markets Platform Solutions.

His career also includes senior positions at UBS in London, NatWest Markets, and HSBC Investment. Ahmad’s extensive experience encompasses a wide range of financial solutions, from tactical trading to innovative savings and retirement plans, as well as discretionary and systematic portfolio strategies and alternative investment access solutions.

Ahmad’s educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Manchester and a Master’s degree in Quantitative Trading & Finance from Cass Business School.
