The UAE International Dental Conference and Arab Dental Exhibition, commonly known as AEEDC Dubai, is organised annually by INDEX Conferences and Exhibitions, part of INDEX Holding, with official support from the Dubai Health Authority, and operates as a key platform where scientific knowledge, innovation, and clinical practice meet to support Dubai’s role as a global centre for dentistry and oral health.

During the 30th edition, Sheikh Saif bin Zayed toured the exhibition halls with Amb. Prof. Abdulsalam AlMadani, Roving Ambassador of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean for the GCC Region, Chairman of AEEDC Dubai, and Chairman of the Global Scientific Dental Alliance, visiting multiple international pavilions and company stands, including the dedicated pavilion of the Arab Republic of Egypt, honoured as Guest of Honor.

Across the tour, Sheikh Saif received detailed presentations from participants on specialised clinical solutions, advanced dental technologies, and new digital tools for dentistry, public health, and medical technology, while holding direct discussions with exhibitors and leaders of international medical firms and institutions about recent scientific developments and product trends affecting the global dental sector.

AEEDC Dubai 2026 also highlighted the Arab Republic of Egypt as Guest of Honor for the 30th edition, represented by Dr. Hisham Sitait, Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Procurement, Medical Supply, and Technology Management, in acknowledgement of Egypt’s contributions to medical education, scientific research, and growing academic and medical cooperation with the UAE.

The inaugural AlShammary and AlMadani International Dental Award, launched by Professor Abdullah AlShammary and Ambassador Professor Abdulsalam AlMadani, attracted more than 182 notable entries from 31 nationalities, reflecting the award’s reach within the global dental community and the influence of its values on education and professional practice.

Within this framework, the AlShammary and AlMadani International Award for the Outstanding Student category was awarded to an entrant from the Kingdom of Bahrain, while the Saveetha Institute of Medical and Technical Sciences from the Republic of India received the Model Educational Institution category award, highlighting regional and international engagement in academic excellence.

AEEDC Dubai also announced the AEEDC Dubai Personality of the Year Award, which is designed to honour a person whose continuous and influential efforts have advanced dentistry internationally, through sector leadership, a long-term effect across organisations and communities, and active work to develop the profession and its global presence.

Dr. Tariq Khoory, Honorary Chairman of AEEDC Dubai and Consultant, Dubai Dental Services, Dubai Health, was recognised with this award for a career defined by commitment and early contributions, especially in supporting continuing medical education and consolidating AEEDC Dubai’s standing as a major international scientific platform serving dentistry.

Over more than three decades, AEEDC Dubai has evolved into a major global meeting point on the international dental calendar, drawing institutional, academic, and clinical interest from around the world and supporting stronger professional partnerships between companies, experts, and health authorities at regional and international levels.

Dr. Abdulsalam AlMadani said, "With the conclusion of the 30th edition of AEEDC Dubai, we celebrate the exceptional achievements of this milestone edition, paving the way for AEEDC Dubai to enter its fourth decade of excellence and global achievement in dentistry and oral health. The event has once again demonstrated its ability to bring together leading international companies and experts on a single platform, fostering innovation, facilitating the exchange of expertise, and driving scientific, technological, and professional advancement across the region."

Through its record results, high level of participation, and focus on innovation, AEEDC Dubai 2026 reinforced Dubai’s role in the global dental industry, while Sheikh Saif bin Zayed’s visit underlined federal support for scientific events that promote collaboration, knowledge exchange, and the continued development of dentistry and oral health across the wider region.
