AED 100 Million Contribution From Erth Zayed Philanthropies To Life Endowment Campaign For Chronic Illness Support
Under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, a significant initiative has been launched to aid those with chronic illnesses in Abu Dhabi. H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has approved AED100 million from Erth Zayed Philanthropies for the Life Endowment campaign. This funding will prioritise People of Determination, ensuring they receive necessary treatment and healthcare services.
The Life Endowment campaign is designed to provide sustainable financial support for individuals with chronic conditions. It aims to ensure continuous access to medical care by funding treatments, essential medications, and psychological assistance. The initiative also seeks to enhance healthcare services and infrastructure through direct funding to hospitals and healthcare providers.

H.H. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan stated, "The launch of the Life Endowment campaign reflects the UAE’s enduring values of solidarity, social cohesion, and shared responsibility. Rooted in the humanitarian legacy of our Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and guided by the vision of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, this initiative reaffirms the UAE’s commitment to respond to needs, build resilience, and empower long-term solutions. Through this endowment, we can offer critical support, upholding the principle that access to care should never be determined by circumstance."
This initiative highlights the UAE's dedication to inclusive and sustainable healthcare access for all citizens. By providing necessary resources, it aims to enable individuals to lead healthy lives. The campaign underscores healthcare as a national priority rather than just a public service.
The campaign emphasises endowments as a model for impactful social investment. It reinforces the UAE’s leadership in sustainable philanthropy and inclusive development. By focusing on endowment-based financing, it seeks to maximise social returns while addressing healthcare needs.
Funds will be allocated directly to hospitals and healthcare providers after reviewing each case. This ensures that eligible patients receive appropriate treatment without delay. The approach not only supports individual health needs but also strengthens overall healthcare infrastructure.
The contribution from Erth Zayed Philanthropies demonstrates leadership's commitment to ensuring everyone has access to necessary healthcare services. This effort aligns with broader goals of promoting health equity and empowering communities through strategic investments.
