ADX Collaborates With ADIB Securities To Enhance Investor Experience Through Digital Onboarding Platform

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) has entered into a memorandum of understanding with ADIB Securities, a prominent Sharia-compliant brokerage firm in the UAE. This collaboration aims to develop a digital onboarding platform to enhance investor access to listed companies and investment schemes on ADX. The partnership seeks to improve the investor experience by creating a more efficient and user-friendly onboarding process.

The new digital platform will streamline obtaining a National Investor Number (NIN) and accessing trading account APIs. These features will be integrated directly into ADIB Securities' mobile app and digital platform. This integration removes the need for printing, signing, and emailing documents, simplifying the process for investors.

Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, Group CEO of ADX, expressed satisfaction with the partnership, stating it aligns with Abu Dhabi's digital transformation strategy. He noted that this initiative reinforces investor access to opportunities in ADX. "We are pleased to partner with ADIB Securities on this innovative initiative," he said.

In the first nine months of 2024, ADX saw a 7% increase in new individual investors compared to the same period in 2023. By September 2024, the total number of investors reached 1.1 million. This growth indicates rising interest from both regional and international investors in Abu Dhabi's capital market.
