ADX Market Capitalisation Rises By Dh13.5 Billion Following Financial Sector Gains

The Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX) saw an increase in its market capitalisation by over Dh13.5 billion at the end of the trading session, driven by financial blue-chip stocks. As a result, the total market cap of UAE local stocks reached Dh3.451 trillion, with ADX-listed stocks accounting for Dh2.777 trillion and Dubai Financial Market (DFM)-listed stocks making up Dh674.3 billion.

During the session, local stocks attracted liquidity of around Dh1.3 billion, with Dh945.7 million traded in Abu Dhabi and Dh355.3 million in Dubai. Approximately 626.9 million shares were traded through more than 25,100 deals.

The FTSE ADX index closed higher by 0.1% at 9022.32 points, while the DFM's general index ended at 4000.25 points.
