ADX Kicks Off Global Investor Roadshow In New York Featuring Leading UAE Companies
Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange (ADX), a leading securities exchange with a market capitalisation exceeding US$765 billion, is set to launch its 2024 Global Investor Roadshow and Conference in New York. The event, organised in collaboration with Morgan Stanley Bank, will take place on 20th and 21st May 2024.
The ADX delegation includes CEOs, CFOs, and senior executives from 15 of ADX’s most prominent listed companies. The team is led by Ghannam Butti Almazrouei, Chairman, and Abdulla Salem Alnuaimi, CEO. As the largest capital market in the UAE and the second-largest in the Arab region, ADX aims to facilitate meetings between its listed companies and major institutional investors based in New York.

The 15 ADX-listed companies participating in the roadshow have a combined market capitalisation of over US$228 billion. These companies represent several key growth sectors of the UAE economy and Abu Dhabi’s dynamic capital market. The event will provide insights into market performance, sustainable financing, investment decisions in the Middle East, and the integration of ESG and AI investment strategies.

ADX's Recent Growth
ADX has experienced significant growth in recent years due to its commitment to innovation and investor engagement. In 2023, ADX raised over US$5.6 billion in IPO proceeds, accounting for 56.3 percent of the total proceeds raised in the region. The Exchange offers a diverse range of securities products and services, including 97 listed companies and 13 exchange-traded funds (ETFs).
The Exchange has been the most active ETF market platform in MENA, with trading values reaching US$1.4 billion in 2023—a 160 percent increase from the previous year. This growth has contributed to a robust market capitalisation of AED2.84 trillion (US$765 billion).
Sustainability Initiatives
An advocate for sustainability, ADX launched the FTSE ADX ESG index in November 2023 to promote sustainable business practices among its listed companies. This initiative enables companies and investors to meet their sustainability goals by providing reliable ESG data for informed decision-making.
