ADQCC Introduces Innovative Scanning Tool For Nutri-Mark, Simplifying Nutritional Grading At GITEX 2025

The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (ADQCC) has introduced a smart feature to enhance the "Nutri-Mark" initiative. This feature, developed with TAMM, is accessible via the TAMM app. It allows users to scan food labels and instantly receive a nutritional grade from A (highest) to E (lowest). This tool was highlighted by ADQCC at GITEX 2025.

The new feature simplifies decision-making by providing quick access to nutritional information. It aligns with Abu Dhabi's goal of using digital solutions to improve quality of life. By empowering consumers with reliable data, it supports informed choices about food products.

The Nutritional Label was created in partnership with the Abu Dhabi Public Health Centre. It assesses products based on their nutritional content, including fats, sugars, fibres, and proteins. This enables consumers to make informed decisions quickly.

Dr. Mohammed Al Askar, Director-General of TAMM – Government Enablement Department, stated, "We are pleased to partner with the Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council to integrate the 'Nutri-Mark’ into the TAMM application. This initiative is built on three main pillars: health, quality, and technology. It promotes nutritional awareness for disease prevention while establishing transparent criteria for food classification. The use of intuitive digital tools ensures easy access to essential information.
