ADNOC Partners Invest AED 3 Billion In Manufacturing Facilities Across The UAE
ADNOC has revealed that its partners will invest AED3 billion ($817 million) in new manufacturing facilities across the UAE. This announcement was made at the 'Make it in the Emirates' forum in Abu Dhabi. These facilities, spread across various industrial zones, will generate over 3,500 skilled jobs and produce diverse industrial products.
The investment locations include the Industrial City of Abu Dhabi (ICAD), Khalifa Economic Zones Abu Dhabi (KEZAD), Dubai Industrial Park, Jebel Ali Free Zone (JAFZA), Sharjah Airport International Free Zone (SAIF Zone), and Umm Al Qaiwain. The facilities will manufacture items such as pressure vessels, pipe coatings, and fasteners.

These developments are supported by ADNOC's In-Country Value (ICV) programme. This initiative allows businesses to leverage ADNOC's commercial opportunities, aiming to locally produce AED90 billion ($24.5 billion) worth of goods by 2030. The ICV programme is a key driver for local economic growth.
Yaser Saeed Almazrouei, ADNOC Executive Director, stated: "We welcome our partners’ commitment to advancing local manufacturing through their investments in these state-of-the-art facilities which will strengthen the UAE’s industrial base and create highly skilled private sector jobs. These investments reflect ADNOC’s ongoing drive to support the ‘Make it in the Emirates’ initiative and localise strategic industrial capabilities through our In-Country Value programme."
The newly operational sites include major expansions and investment commitments that align with ADNOC's procurement needs. This move underscores ADNOC's support for the 'Make it in the Emirates' initiative, focusing on strengthening local manufacturing capabilities.
Since 2018, ADNOC's ICV programme has reinvested AED242 billion into the UAE economy and created 17,000 jobs for UAE Nationals in the private sector. This demonstrates its significant impact on local economic development and job creation.
