ADNOC Launches Innovative 'Make It With ADNOC' App To Support Local Manufacturing Growth

ADNOC has introduced "Make it with ADNOC," a pioneering mobile app designed to enhance local manufacturing and boost the UAE's industrial growth. This app, part of the Make it in the Emirates initiative, provides real-time insights into products ADNOC plans to purchase. It offers manufacturers, SMEs, and entrepreneurs a clear path to leverage long-term local manufacturing opportunities.

The app aims to improve business engagement with ADNOC by increasing transparency in procurement, reducing investment risks, and easing supplier onboarding. Yaser Saeed Almazrouei, ADNOC Executive Director for People, Commercial & Corporate Support, stated that the app will streamline processes for businesses to capitalise on significant local manufacturing opportunities.

ADNOC Launches New App for Local Manufacturing

Omar Al Suwaidi from the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology (MoIAT) highlighted that this collaboration with strategic partners advances the National Strategy for Industry and Advanced Technology. The "Make it with ADNOC" app complements the Make it in the Emirates initiative by providing manufacturers and investors with real-time information on opportunities within ADNOC’s value chain.

Al Suwaidi encouraged participation in the upcoming Make it in the Emirates event from 19-22 May at ADNEC, Abu Dhabi. Over 500 companies will explore new investment opportunities and incentives offered by various entities. He mentioned that this year’s edition would reveal exceptional opportunities, including new offtake agreements across 12 strategic sectors.

Rashed Abdulkarim Al Blooshi from Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development noted that the app aligns with Abu Dhabi's Industrial Strategy (ADIS) and broader economic vision. By enhancing transparency and streamlining access to ADNOC’s procurement pipeline, it empowers businesses to align with national priorities and confidently invest in the UAE’s industrial future.

Badr Al Olama from Abu Dhabi Investment Office (ADIO) remarked that this initiative strengthens Abu Dhabi as a global hub for advanced industry. Streamlining access to local manufacturing opportunities enhances competitiveness while creating an attractive environment for investors.

Supporting Local Manufacturers

Shamis Al Dhaheri from Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry emphasised that the app fosters a transparent ecosystem empowering local manufacturers and SMEs. This initiative aligns with national goals for industrial self-sufficiency and economic diversification, strengthening the industrial base and accelerating sustainable development.

The launch of "Make it with ADNOC" precedes the Make it in the Emirates forum scheduled for 19-22 May in Abu Dhabi. It builds on ADNOC’s ICV program success, which has reinvested AED242 billion (US$65.9 billion) into the UAE economy since 2018. The company plans to inject AED200 billion (US$54.5 billion) over five years as part of this program.
