ADNEC Group Collaborates With Tawazun Council For IDEX And NAVDEX 2025 Strategic Partnership

The ADNEC Group has partnered with the Tawazun Council to organise the largest-ever International Defence Exhibition (IDEX) and Naval Defence Exhibition (NAVDEX). These events will take place from 17th to 21st February 2025 at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. The exhibitions will be held under the patronage of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces.

This collaboration highlights the shared dedication of Tawazun Council and ADNEC Group to advance the UAE's vision of becoming a global leader in defence, security, and advanced technology. The partnership aims to create a strategic platform for decision-makers, experts, and industry leaders to showcase innovations shaping the future of defence and security.

Saeed Al Mansoori, Advisor for Defence Exhibitions at Capital Events, part of ADNEC Group, expressed pride in their partnership with Tawazun Council for organising IDEX and NAVDEX 2025. He stated that this collaboration demonstrates their commitment to positioning Abu Dhabi as a global hub for innovation in defence and security. "We are proud of our partnership and collaboration with Tawazun Council in organising the 17th edition of IDEX and the 8th edition of NAVDEX 2025," he said.

Mona Ahmed Al Jabber, Chief Corporate Communication Officer at Tawazun Council, emphasised that IDEX and NAVDEX are significant milestones in global defence exhibitions. She noted that these events highlight advancements in defence technology while showcasing the professionalism of organisers. This attracts international attention, solidifying the UAE's role as a global hub for Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE).

The upcoming exhibitions will feature innovative programs such as IDEX Next-Gen, which focuses on global start-ups. Additionally, IDEX Think Tank will gather international experts to discuss challenges and innovations in the sector. Other features include IDEX and NAVDEX Dialogues where policymakers explore technologies defining the industry's future.

The previous editions of IDEX and NAVDEX in 2023 were highly successful. They attracted 132,507 participants with 41 international pavilions featuring 1,353 exhibitors from 65 countries. This success sets a high benchmark for future editions.
