ADJD Champions Family Awareness Through Engaging Initiatives On International Day Of Families
The Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) marked the International Day of Families on 15th May with a series of family-focused activities. These events aimed to nurture community values and strengthen family ties, aligning with the "Year of Community 2025" vision. This initiative supports efforts to enhance family cohesion and social unity across Abu Dhabi.
At The Galleria Al Maryah Island in Abu Dhabi, a three-day celebration unfolded with various interactive and educational events. Among these were workshops on positive parenting and family life, designed to improve overall family wellbeing. A Family Consultation and Chat Corner also provided guidance from ADJD’s family counsellors.

The event featured a "Creative Child’s World" area filled with engaging activities and competitions for children, creating a joyful atmosphere. This special section aimed to foster creativity and fun among young participants, contributing to a family-friendly environment.
A dedicated space showcased creative products made by individuals from correctional and rehabilitation centres, as well as juvenile care centres. These exhibits highlighted traditional crafts and values, reflecting the UAE's cultural identity and heritage.
Visitors were introduced to the "Abu Dhabi 360" app during the event. This app is designed to encourage a holistic approach to wellbeing for all community members. It offers a personalised journey that redefines fitness and mental health, promoting balance across physical, mental, and social dimensions.
The celebration underscores ADJD's commitment to preserving family integrity through innovative awareness programmes. These initiatives align with directives from His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan to ensure sustainable support programmes that enhance family stability.
Strengthening Community Bonds
Through these dynamic activities, ADJD reaffirms its vital role in nurturing stronger families and fostering a more connected society. By promoting family cohesion, the department contributes to building a cohesive society that enhances Abu Dhabi’s global competitiveness.
