ADJD Auction App Surpasses AED 3.4 Billion in Sales, Revolutionising Property Auctions

Since its inception in June 2022, the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department's (ADJD) Auction App has significantly impacted the market, amassing over AED3.4 billion in sales by mid-February 2024. This innovative platform has facilitated the sale of 333 properties, totaling AED3,401,835,871, alongside 1013 vehicles worth AED78,277,025. Additionally, the app has seen transactions involving jewellery valued at AED232,720 and 1,784 movable properties amounting to AED129,429,625. These figures underscore the app's growing popularity and its effectiveness as a remote asset trading platform.

Counselor Yousef Saeed Alabri, the Undersecretary of the Judicial Department, praised the app for modernizing the bidding process for seized property in judicial cases. He emphasized that this advancement aligns with the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan for a more efficient justice system. This vision aims to enhance Abu Dhabi's global competitiveness by streamlining judicial processes.

The ADJD Auction App simplifies participation in auctions by allowing users to easily sign up and deposit funds. It caters to bidders both within and outside the UAE, providing detailed information on properties seized in enforcement cases. The app covers a wide range of assets, including real estate, vehicles, distinguished car number plates, and various movable properties. It offers innovative options for remote bidding and completing transactions through straightforward steps within the specified legal framework.
