ADIPEC Generates Over AED 99.2 Billion In Business Deals And Economic Returns In Three Years

ADIPEC has solidified its position as a global leader in advancing the energy sector by integrating artificial intelligence and energy solutions. Over the last three editions, it has generated over USD 27 billion (AED 99.2 billion) in business deals, highlighting its role in fostering growth and collaboration within the global energy ecosystem.

In 2022, ADIPEC facilitated business deals worth USD 8.2 billion among participating companies. The following year, the event achieved USD 8.8 billion in economic returns for the global energy sector, alongside over USD 350 million in benefits to various UAE economic sectors. The 40th edition in 2024 saw deals exceeding USD 10 billion across diverse industries.

Abdulmunim Saif Alkindy, Chair of ADIPEC 2025, emphasised that this year's theme, "Energy. Intelligence. Impact.", reflects the belief that energy and intelligence are key drivers of global progress as populations grow and AI development accelerates. He stated: "The ADIPEC’s theme of Energy. Intelligence. Impact. reflects our belief that, as global populations expand, new growth economies emerge, and the development of Artificial Intelligence accelerates, energy and intelligence are the twin engines that will set the pace of global progress."

The upcoming edition will focus on building resilience in current energy systems while investing in intelligent solutions for sustainable growth. Alkindy added: "This year’s programme will focus on the dual imperatives of building resilience in today’s energy systems while simultaneously investing to scale the intelligent energy solutions needed to drive sustainable economic growth."

The Strategic Conference titled "Unlocking AI in Energy: Scaling Intelligence with Confidence" will explore AI's intersection with policy, infrastructure, and skills for scalable deployment. The Technical Conference will highlight real-world innovations like predictive maintenance and intelligent grids.

Alkindy explained that ADIPEC 2025 aims to bring together global leaders from various sectors to share expertise and align strategies for a sustainable future: "By convening the global energy community around this theme, ADIPEC 2025 aims to pool expertise, exchange solutions and align on strategies to ensure we make the most of this once-in-a-generation opportunity."

Expanding Opportunities

This year sees an expansion in floor space with an enlarged AI Zone and a new co-located event called the Chemicals and Low-Carbon Expo. This expo will feature innovative companies involved in ammonia, hydrogen, methanol, carbon capture, energy storage, chemicals, renewable and clean energy.

The event also introduces Young ADIPEC's most extensive edition yet with eleven components aimed at inspiring students towards careers in energy. The continuation of the ADIPEC Youth Council will further empower young minds by engaging them with industry pioneers.

Cultural Engagement

A new UAE Culture Pavilion at ADIPEC will showcase the nation's collaborative spirit at its main entrance. This pavilion aims to immerse attendees in UAE's culture of partnership that drives progress.

Alkindy concluded by highlighting how these initiatives ensure ADIPEC shapes both markets and future leaders: "Together... these initiatives ensure ADIPEC is not only about shaping markets but also about shaping the next generation of leaders who will carry intelligent energy systems forward."
