ADIPEC 2024 Opens In Abu Dhabi With Focus On AI And Sustainable Energy Solutions

The UAE is set to host the global energy community on Monday, 4 November, as ADIPEC 2024 kicks off at the ADNEC Centre in Abu Dhabi. Organised by ADNOC, this event will focus on the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in advancing energy transition. It will also incorporate insights from finance, technology, and youth perspectives to support a secure and sustainable future.

One of the standout features of ADIPEC 2024 is the introduction of the AI Zone, known as Energyai by ADNOC. Here, leading technology companies such as enercap, Accenture, AIQ, Microsoft, and Baker Hughes will showcase innovative solutions. These aim to meet AI's energy demands while reducing emissions for sustainability.

The exhibition spans 16 halls with over 2,200 exhibitors. It includes national and international oil companies and features 30 country pavilions across four specialised areas: AI Zone, Decarbonisation Zone, Digitalisation Zone, and Maritime & Logistics Zone. Christopher Hudson from dmg events stated: "In its 40th edition, ADIPEC is set to be the most impactful yet."

This year’s ADIPEC expects over 184,000 attendees from 164 countries.
